Acting on your feedback to provide even greater value for
membership remained our highest priority throughout 2017.
Our employees rallied behind our You deserve more!
campaign to deliver advice-focused service and
tailored financial solutions for customers with every interaction.”
Gavin Toy, President and CEO
Our vision is to enrich the lives of our members and customers.
Our purpose is to be the financial partner of choice for busy families and
growing small businesses in our communities so they can achieve their
most important goals.
15 branches and counting!
Members told us they would like to see more branches in our local communities. In response, we opened three new branches in 2017, increasing our geographical footprint by 25% in an effort to make it even easier for members to access valuable financial solutions and advice through one of our exceptional service locations.
Delivering accessibility and convenience
Our customers can enjoy access to more than 4,100 fee-free ATMs across the country through the ACCULINK Network and THE EXCHANGE Network — a bigger ATM network than offered by most banks!
Sending money by email through e-Transfers in Online Banking is convenient,
secure and fast. In 2017, we offered this valuable service for free as part of our
Unlimited Chequing Account and Unlimited Family Plan. Members can quickly and
easily send gifts to friends or family, settle bills with a friend or
pay for items purchased online or at garage sales.
Surrey Mayor’s Art Awards
Westminster Savings was honoured to be the recipient of a Surrey Mayor’s Art Award in the category of philanthropy. This annual award is given to an individual or business that has contributed to arts and culture in Surrey through grants, donations or other investments.
Arts Umbrella nominated Westminster Savings in recognition of its long-standing partnership with the organization, which has impacted more than 1,400 students from 27 schools in Surrey. Arts programs supported by the credit union have helped kids at a disadvantage, providing them with new experiences, learning and growth.
